Spend six nights/ seven days sailing South East Alaska. On this trip not only will you get to enjoy all the wonderful wildlife Alaska has to offer but you will also get to soak in some of Alaska’s healing hot springs, go Whale watching, birding, view sea lions, go on nature hikes, forage for wild edibles, fish for salmon (halibut is additional cost), kayak through the wilderness.

Day One.
Pick up in Juneau.  Meet the yacht and get settled for you week long adventure.  Relax and enjoy dinner while sailing to our first anchorage.  Keep a look out for humpback whales and Orca whales. We will sail 45 miles and anchor in Tracy Arm Entrance Cove for the night.

Day Two.
We will leave the anchorage early in the morning and serve breakfast while underway to anchor at the Gambier Bay.  This Bay has lots of bears and beautiful rain forest making it the perfect place!  We also often see whales and sea loins here.  Take the afternoon to kayak around this small cove or hike around it looking for wild edibles.

Day Three.
We will leave early in the morning and have breakfast underway to  Chapin Bay.  After our 3 hour sail we will all be ready to go kayaking or hiking, or just relax onboard and enjoy the whales, bears and eagles.

Day Four.
Enjoy a slow morning at anchor, go for a walk or kayak and watch the wild life wake up for the day!  Around lunch time we will head out for a short 3 hour sail to Warm Springs.  Take the rest of the day to relax in the amazing natural hot springs!

Day Five
We will leave early from Warm Springs and sail for around 6 hours to  Appleton Cove. This cove has a few streams and lots of wild life to watch, it is also a great place for a hike and kayaking.

Day Six.
Wake up for a majestic 3 hour sail through a narrow canal with views of wild life and amazing rock formations.  We will sneak our way into a tiny protected cove called Baby Bear Cove.  Enjoy the rest of the day exploring, fishing, kayaking and hiking.

Day Seven.
On the final day we will sail 30 miles to Sitka, this sail is very involved due to the narrow canals and steep rock cliffs on both sides.  Relax and enjoy your final day onboard.  Disembark in the afternoon in Sitka!!
