Welcome Aboard! Welcome to our website, here you can learn about your next Alaskan adventure.  I have spent a few years in Alaska and have enjoyed taking all kinda of people out into the majestic Alaskan wildness.  I enjoy fishing for giant salmon either in the ocean or in the many streams where you can also catch trout, dolly varden and arctic char.  Or go out in the inside passage to catch ling cod, rock fish and try our luck at crab and shrimp!  Alaska is a very special place.

Welcome, glad you made it.  Gypsy Wind is more than a boat, it’s a lifestyle. Our experienced crew has a dream, to share the most wonderful places this planet has to offer, with people who want to explore it as much as we do.  We’ve been encouraged to document our journey, because it’s about as far off the path as you can get.

This blog will help us share our trials and accomplishments, our stumbles and blind leaps.  I hope that any and all who happen across this site, find  something interesting and maybe even stoke the flames to get out there, and see the world.
